Sberbank says has no international expansion plans
MINSK, Jul 16 (PRIME) -- Russia’s national top lender Sberbank has no plans to expand its international presence, CEO German Gref told reporters on Tuesday.
“We have no international expansion plans,” he said.
Gref also said that Sberbank plans to close the sale of its Turkish subsidiary Denizbank to the United Arab Emirates’ (UAE) Emirates NBD until the end of July.
“Let’s hope that the deal could be closed this month. We have everything for it, we will see how the situation develops,” he added.
